The F135 Sustainment Program is looking for a Depot Maintenance Planner in East Hartford, CT facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct F135 depot-level maintenance induction planning and development of repair workscopes to support the F135 repair/overhaul program.

  • Plan module repair inductions at US and International repair facilities based on overall depot capabilities, tooling availability, supply posture, funding, containers, and hardware status to support engine maintenance.

  • Monitor and address daily inputs on induction and planning constraints at depot repair locations.

  • Coordinate with Customer Support Engineering to resolve non-conforming parts issues.

  • Review reports and file orders for appropriate export markings.

  • Participate in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual module status and depot induction planning and scheduling meetings.

  • Respond to requests for information from Engineering and internal subject matter experts.

  • Participate in the development of module-specific Fleet Management Plans.

  • Collaborate on current and impending issues facing the respective modules and associated components.

  • Provide status on forecasted work and accomplished repairs to F135 Sustainment Leadership and customers.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; preference for aerospace, engineering, manufacturing, or business management. Other disciplines may be considered with appropriate work history.

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in support of aerospace and/or propulsion production/maintenance management is required.

  • US Citizenship is required due to government contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with F-35 or F135 programs and/or experience with other PW military engine programs

  • Depot-level engine maintenance experience on F135

  • Experience with flight line maintenance, engine overhaul, and engine troubleshooting

  • Understanding of Engineering Changes, Authorizations, and Service Bulletins

  • Experience with crafting, maintaining, correcting, and processing repair manual tech data in association with suppliers and internal/external customers.

  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail and organization, with the ability to prioritize in a dynamic work environment
