An opportunity exists within the ME F135 Program Financial Support (PFS) Organization for a Military Engines FP&A Manager to support the F135 Development Program. This person will be the primary point of contact responsible for customer deliverables ranging from program financial support and guidance, financial analysis and control, contract compliance, amongst other things.

Specific job responsibilities entail:

  • Act as a Business Adviser to the F135 Program Management Office (PMO) in support of $400M+ business tied to the Block 4 Flight Test contract and the Component Improvement Program (CIP) contracts

  • Promote solid financial performance thru robust management reporting and communication, financial analysis, and effective risk management practices

  • Shine the light on opportunities to optimize return on sales in order to achieve target fee or greater

  • Ensure Program liquidity across all Development contracts by effectively managing funding, billing and cash flow projections

  • Promote contract compliance with USG notification requirements, PW MAM policy, and other compliance metrics

  • Leverage PW systems (SAP, Dassian, BW, etc.) in order to streamline P&L/ BS/ USG reporting

  • Timely follow-up and disposition of various USG/ PW ad-hoc requests

  • Actively promote ACE Tools & Process Improvement initiatives in support of F135 Program Management Office (PMO) deliverables

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience

  • US citizenship is required, due to government contract

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP

  • Business Warehouse

  • Hyperion Financial Management

  • ODM

  • Microsoft Office Products

  • Dassian

The F135 Program is not only the fastest growing and largest single Engine Program in Pratt & Whitney history it is also the largest military contract in US history! To that end, candidates are expected to be strong team players, capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently and accurately in a rapidly changing business environment. Prior ME Program experience is preferred but not required.
