The F135 Sustainment Initial Spare Parts Integration Specialist’s main objective will be to ensure timely delivery and closure of all of our initial spare part contracts working across the enterprise. This position reports into the F135 Program Office Sustainment Supply Chain Management organization. Functional organizations that you will be working with are Mod Center, Engineering, fleet logistics specialist, control account managers, CAIPT, legal, contracts, finance, and others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing a process across multiple different F135 organizations to deliver changing part lists in a fixed price contract environment.

  • Develop and streamline a process to eventually reduce overall cost to the customer over a period of 3 years.

  • Integrate an be involved in the engineering change process as well as cut over strategies for part number changes.

  • Working through the contract language to determine optimized path on delivery of parts while minimizing financial risk to the program.

Looking for someone who is strong in both communication and problem-solving skills. Experience with leading a team and communicating complex work flows effectively across the PW enterprise is desired.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to gain secret clearance

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an operational supply chain and/or logistics management capacity along with leadership experience.

  • At least 3 years of proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Leadership/management experience is strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with engine Bills of Material, spares configuration management databases, and spares provisioning tables is highly desired.

  • Good analytical skills are a must: individual must be able to organize, logically analyze and present spares information that may be pulled in from several info systems.

  • A working knowledge of current Department of Defense engine material and logistics support concepts is beneficial.

  • A good working knowledge of international shipping/export compliance is desired.

  • The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate work experience that details examples of self-starting ability, initiative, and capacity to drive complex issues to closure.

  • Must be able to obtain/maintain required work permits, clearances and access.
