Located in East Hartford, Connecticut, the Integrated Customer Support Director, Advanced & Gatorworks Programs will lead a team of ICS professionals to develop strategic planning, business capture, proposals, negotiations, competitive analysis and customer relationship to develop and grow the Advanced, Special Technology and Gatorworks Engines portfolio. We’re seeking a top performing individual with experience in the Department of Defense technology and requirements definition, business development and acquisition, planning, programming and budgeting processes. This position will support a strategic and tactical business growth plan for new, emerging technologies as well as technology insertion into multiple operational engine programs. The duties and responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the leadership, management and oversight of the following:
Create, identify, shape, qualify, promote and capture new technology opportunities
Track and trend DoD budgets for defined opportunities
Review multiple websites to identify and assign new growth opportunities
Develop and lead a team of approximately 10 ICS professionals in business development activities to support business unit growth objectives
Develop and identify staffing needs to support development of a strong team of ICS/BD professionals
Develop and update program specific business capture plans and roadmaps
Provide data/analysis for Monthly Program Business Reviews
Provide strategic guidance in the development and execution of proposals and subsequent negotiations
Review and update as needed standard work to support team development and robust processes
Minimum of 20+ years’ experience in DoD technology development programs, acquisition policy and processes, business development and proposal management, program management, and financial analysis
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook- Ability to analyze/solve problems and exercise creativity to develop and/or implement practical solutions- Ability to work multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Ability to anticipate customer technology needs
ACE Associate or 6Sigma experience- Self-motivated and creative thinker
Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Excellent customer focus and team building skills- Result oriented with the ability to anticipate future consequence and trends accurately
Ability to lead a small team
BS degree w/20+ years’ experience, advanced degree preferred
