The Mature Commercial Engines Operations team is seeking an Industrial Manager to interface across Program Management, Global Supply Chain (GSC), and MCE Customer Solutions to assure part quality / delivery are getting necessary attention to meet shop TAT. A successful candidate will implement mitigation strategies for overdue deliveries and risk items working across the value stream. This is a dynamic, high volume, high interaction role, where organizational and communication skills are critical.
Industrial Managers have the following responsibilities:
Work across P&W to resolve critical part shortages
Develop systemic approach to evaluate potential future part shortages and implement early action to preclude such part shortages
Drive a holistic part supply solution accounting for factors such as “used serviceable” part availability, 3rd party material providers, repair yields, etc.
Participate in weekly Heat Map meetings and identify parts that may fall in gaps between processes
Develop & maintain robust processes to communicate part delivery commits
Implement innovative means by which to identify and subsequently mitigate potential issues relative to delivery
Interface with respective executives relative to issue mitigation, as required
Working with Aftermarket, create and maintain five year spare part forecast
-Tracking critical parts for the program that have been identified, communicate customer needs and work stop dates, provide MRP recovery analysis, monitor daily deliveries, investigate missed promises and communicate new delivery stream
-Supporting tactical requests to expedite aftermarket production hardware (i.e. providing delivery commitments, confirming that parts are stored in the warehouse, etc.)
-Providing the Commercial Engines senior management team with current information of critical part status
7-10 years experience required in manufacturing or shop operations with a demonstrated strong program management background.
A successful candidate possesses the following attributes:

Two+ years of experience with relevant SAP transactions; fluent in Microsoft Office and Power point.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Proven ability to listen, negotiate, influence and persuade others
Excellent problem solving skills; proactive and solution oriented
Demonstrated experience in developing relationships; able to develop credibility and respect with individuals at all organizational levels
Experience in a fast-paced, changing environment
Ability to take initiative, support strategic priorities, take ownership of assigned projects/initiatives and independently drive for results
