EHRO is a vital component of Pratt & Whitney’s growing Aftermarket business. The facility covers 285,000 square feet, employs over 300 employees, and focuses on the Repair and Overhaul of various military and commercial jet engine components. Major products include major rotating parts (Drums, Disks, Hubs, Shafts, Blades, etc.), HPC Stators, Honeycomb & Duct Segments, Fan Cases, and Combustion Chambers. This position sits in East Hartford, Connecticut and the role is required to be onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Internal audit/audit team management, host customer audits, and support regulatory audits as required

  • Lead, conduct, and plan internal QMS audits for compliance to AS9110 standard

  • Develop and revise internal audit checklists

  • Perform all formal responsibilities of a lead auditor such as audit team selection, audit planning, conducting opening and closing meetings and daily debriefs with management, completing an audit report and issuing, reviewing, and approving formal corrective action requests

  • Assist AS9110 Certification body during site surveillance and recertification audits

  • Assist in facilitating AS9110 Certification body audit schedules, logistics, and closure of corrective actions

  • Conduct comprehensive audit preparation and planning based on historical and current performance data

  • Support special audits and independent assessments as required

  • Develop and present audit and corrective action metrics

  • Lead, conduct, and plan internal audits based on audit and corrective action metrics

  • Repair Station document control/review; oversee revisions; collaborate with Regulatory Compliance Manager for NAA acceptance as required

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of relevant Quality Assurance experience required OR

  • Advance degree and 5 years of relevant experience

  • 5+ years of Aerospace QMS auditing experience required

  • US Citizenship required due to government contracts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with executive management presentations

  • Able to function effectively without direct supervision

  • ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or,

  • AS9100/9110 Lead Auditor Certification

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to lead and train teams
