Join our team as a Military Customer Support and Services (MCSS) Business and Project Management Specialist

Pratt & Whitney is in search of an F135 Military Customer Support and Services (MCSS) Business and Project Management Specialist. P&W Military Customer Support F135 (PLM) provides products and services to sustain the worldwide propulsion fleet of F135 engines including Customer Support Engineering, Support Equipment, and Joint Technical Data.

This position will be responsible for overseeing the management of budgets and schedules for government contracts.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Project Management Oversight of MCSS activities under the F135 site and depot activation contracts

  • Activities would fall under Support Equipment, Joint Technical Data, and Customer Support Engineering subsets of the contract

  • Assist Control Account Managers (CAMs) with monthly review of financial data to ensure validity and alignment with expected outputs

  • Reviewing data on business days 4 and 5 before monthly deliverables begin

  • Ensure accurate and on-time delivery of monthly business rhythm deliverables.

  • Review and Approve Dassian and eCSVAR CAM submittals monthly

  • Generate Top Driver Variances monthly

  • Assist CAMs with development of inputs to properly baseline statement of work (SOW), tracks schedule performance and budgets under his/her responsibility. Assist with monthly status inputs to ensure the accuracy and validity of schedule performance and Estimate at Complete (EAC).

  • Support weekly Internal Cost and Schedule Performance Status meetings, Monthly EAC customer meetings, and weekly risk reviews, and Integrated Baseline Reviews

  • Support process improvement initiatives identified by the Program Management Office (PMO)

Required Skills:

  • Teamwork, adaptability and focus on results are key competences for this position

  • Working knowledge of EVMS and Program/Project management

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills

  • Desire to work with both internal and external stakeholders in a team environment

  • Experience with P&W’s EV toolset including Primavera, Dassian, eCSVAR, and wInsight a plus

Do you have what it takes to join our team?

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required

  • Experience / Qualifications: minimum 4 years of overall work experience, including at least 2 years in each project management and utilizing EVMS tools

  • Must be a US Citizen due to government contracts

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Technical field

  • F135 Experience

  • ACE Associate

  • CAM Training
