Pratt & Whitney Tool Support Services (TSS) offers airline and repair facility customers a complete line of aircraft engine tooling and engine ground support equipment (GSE) for all maintenance operations.

TSS provides quality products at competitive prices, delivered in a timely manner.

Our tooling supports all Pratt & Whitney commercial engines including the new Geared Turbofan for business and regional aircraft, as well as International Aero Engine's V2500 engines.

The tools we sell are identical to those that Pratt & Whitney uses to assemble and maintain its own engines.

In this role, you will work with the TSS customer service team reporting up to the Customer Service Manager. As a Senior Associate you are responsible for customer support, sales activity, and product ordering.

Area of Expertise:

Provides pre-delivery and after-sale support to customers which may include product ordering, availability and delivery

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary sales interface to the customer with daily interaction providing accurate and timely responses to quote requests, executing customer purchase orders, providing routine order status, coordinating inspection priorities, assuring export compliance, managing warehouse inventory and providing order logistics support through to delivery.

  • You will be required to work independently with minimal oversight, using initiative and sound judgment to identify potential sales opportunities and successfully relate PW’s OEM value advantage. The candidate will be responsible for providing work direction and overseeing sale representative work execution as well as work to drive process efficiency efforts through the use of continuous process improvement tools.

  • Team participation/leadership is required for EH&S, continuous improvement and Customer Satisfaction efforts.

  • Some travel 5% annually may be required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in marketing, operations or supply chain management is highly desired.

  • A minimum of 3 years of customer service, sales, marketing, operations, purchasing or supply chain management is required..

  • At least 1 year of sales experience is required; if the candidate has never worked directly in sales before.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year in the aerospace industry is highly desirable.

  • Candidates must have a proven record of working with ACE or similar Total Quality Management tools and metrics.

  • You must demonstrate superior interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with global perspective as this position requires significant interface with P&W external/international customers and internal PW customers.

  • Attention to detail with the ability to quickly respond to changing requirements and priorities plus managing aggressive customer requirements is essential.

  • The candidate should have working knowledge of SAP, proficiency with Microsoft Office products and thorough knowledge of export laws and regulations.

  • Understanding of engine maintenance as related to tooling and blue print interpretation is a plus.

  • Strong customer service skills with knowledge of contracting principles and demonstrated negation skills is a plus.

  • ACE Associate certification is desired for internal candidates.
