Pratt and Whitney has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Manager, US Talent Acquisition. Do you have the ability to build strong relationships at all levels and be viewed as a subject matter expert in what you do? Would you like to be a part of a growing, collaborative and talented TA team?

This role will lead a team of recruiters focusing on multiple business units. The successful candidate will:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire, retain and continually develop diverse, high caliber talent acquisition professionals who are able to contribute positively to the organization.

  • Utilize and leverage data and analytics, drive the narrative of our recruiting status and influence change.

  • Lead the team to achieve or exceed department goals by leveraging resources and by driving a continual focus on best practices and a deeper understanding of the business

  • Design and deliver strategy to manage full cycle recruitment.

  • Seek and apply research, best practices, and innovative approaches to advance the company's recruiting strategy.

  • Partner closely with our Diversity and Souring teams to attract a diverse workforce.

  • Assess training needs and create development plans for the team and individual team members.

  • Ensure that recruiting and hiring practices are compliant with all applicable local, state, and federal employment laws and OFCCP / EEOC guidelines.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years prior relevant experience OR Advanced degree and 7+ years prior relevant experience.

  • Previous experience managing a mid to senior level team of recruiters.

  • Deep understanding of full life cycle recruiting.

  • US Person/ Permanent Resident ‘Green Card’ holder.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strategic thinker with hands-on style to deliver practical and effective solutions.

  • High level of organizational skills (including: detail orientation and strong follow-up/follow through skills).

  • Must be able to independently manage priorities & multi-task.

  • Possess strong presentation, listening, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Capable of evaluating and changing priorities on an as-needed basis.

  • Sense of urgency, can do attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Must have a strong understanding of recruiting metrics and data and how they relate to operational performance.

  • Ability to quickly and efficiently develop relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other HR team members.
