Raytheon Technologies Logistics Manager in El Paso, Texas

Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services is looking for an self-guided, self-motivated Logistics Manager to lead our logistics warehouse operations in El Paso, Texas. The Logistics Manager will work from the Ft. Bliss Hangar location. This position will be regularly involved in the daily operations, provide guidance and leadership to their functional support team to ensure compliance, process alignment, schedule implementation and ensure that programs are followed through within budget.

The Logistics Manager is responsible for all aspects of El Paso logistics support and will guide a team that will support onsite and off-site warehouse operations, receiving, stores, material control and fulfillment, kitting, property, and packaging and shipping.

This person will be required to create Basis of Estimates (BOE) inputs for all El Paso logistics proposal efforts. Daily interface and coordination with Operations, IPT Lead, Program Management and Mission Assurance is required and is a key element to the success of the entire operation.

This position maintains property accountability records and arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment utilizing government eTools, including PCARSS, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and ARMS (RLIMS) and the government LMP site. Performs all aspects of administrative and technical property and material administration and coordination work with business partners across various platforms (e.g., receiving, inspection, inventory scheduling, movement, storage management, cataloging, property utilization, LTDDs, disposition and sell-off) related to depot, local, or other supply activities at various sites.

The position requires close interface with the SC IPT Lead and/or PM on upcoming workload to provide advance planning and recommended logistics & asset management solutions. Daily coordination with Production Control (Operations) on workload priorities must be established to support contract delivery schedules. The team member in this position will be required to represent logistics in meetings and program reviews which may include preparing and presenting ideas and strategies, will operate autonomously in planning, scheduling, and prioritizing daily activities with their support team and will be required to foster a highly collaborative team environment while developing and maintaining a high level of morale within their team.

The responsible person will develop and deploy functional strategies to facilitate process efficiency and accuracy throughout the logistics process while addressing continuous improvement. These strategies must be compliant to Government regulations and in accordance with Raytheon policies and procedures.

Required Skills:

•Demonstrated effective track record of managing, developing and mentoring team members.

•Must have demonstrated communication and critical thinking skills with a proactive approach to organizational tasks and duties.

•Must have prior experience in property and managing a logistics operation with personnel management and administration.

•Minimum of 5 years of experience in Logistics/Supply; familiar with military supply system, specifically Army.

•Working knowledge of WAWF, PIEE, and SAP.

•Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.

•Must be able to develop and monitor key performance measurement (metrics) and prepare various Logistics reports in support of internal, government, and other program requirements.

•Knowledge of government contracts and FAR rules and regulations.

•Excellent computer skills are required and consist of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.

•Responsible for developing strategies to address continuous improvement and company best practices, identifying, and analyzing logistics process deficiencies and providing solutions to address a variety of complex inventory, warehousing, shipping, and scheduling requirements.

•Knowledge of Property systems and experience working with material and/or property systems.

•Travel may be required.

Desired Skills:

•Experience and effective follow through in preparing Proposals and Basis of Estimates (BOE) for logistics and asset management functions in support of program pursuits.

•Proven experience in a Material Consolidation, Manufacturing and Depot, Production or Performance Based Logistics (PBL) environment is a plus.

•Knowledge of Property Management in a government contractor environment.

•Broad knowledge of Import/Export requirements and hazardous material management.

•Core knowledge of SAP/PRISM software system.

•Working knowledge of ALCS.

•Front Line Leadership training and Six Sigma Specialist desired.

•Possess an understanding of MIL-STD requirements pertaining to SPI’s for government contracts.
