Raytheon Technologies Logistics Specialist II in El Paso, Texas
Raytheon Technologies is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor (Logistics Specialist II) that will handle all logistics and warehouse supervision activities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge and experience in all facets of supply chain including but not limited to Requisitioning, Expediting, Workflow Coordination, Receiving, Data Entry, Scanning, Packaging, Inventory, Shipping, Transportation, Audits and Proposal Support.
You will interact with personnel on a daily basis whether in person or via other communication channels. Our operations will require you to work in a fast paced environment to complete our immediate and forecasted missions. Individuals will be required to lift 25 pound items unaided and drive forklifts. We are looking for a professional with proven ability to fulfill customer requirements, be a self-starter, and willing to go the extra mile in meeting customer demands. Manages, develops or carries out logistics and property activities in accordance with local established business policies, procedures and public law. Reviews material requests, manages workflow, prepares issue and disposition documents, tracks lag in the process flow and expedites processing and delivery of requisitioned items from request through material order approval, goods receipt, shipment tracking, shipment building, inventories, material process flow and warehouse supervision.
Detail orientated with a keen understanding of material requirements for the mission and procedure requirements for the procurement process. Ensures accuracy of all information, assists with local customer inventories, transportation, import/export requirements, and customer returns in conjunction with business area personnel. Fully aware of audit and compliance requirements and has the ability to identify and implement process improvements. Hours of operations are based upon customer mission requirements. Requirement for occasional night or weekend work (potentially on short notice) as per mission requirements.
•2 years applicable experience related to Logistics Operations and Warehouse Supervision •Must possess excellent communication (written and oral) communications skills. •Must have understanding of FAR requirements related to Government Furnished Property and material in possession of contractors. •Demonstrated successful track record of managing, developing and mentoring individuals •Must be able to help develop and monitor key performance measurement (metrics) and prepare various logistics reports in support of internal, government, program and organizational requirements. •Must have prior experience managing in a logistics environment with personnel management and administration. •US Citizen with current/active Secret Security Clearance •Excellent computer skills (MS Office) •Proven ability to be a team player with excellent customer service skills •Must have ability to lift 25 pound items unaided •Must have an understanding of supply chain and logistical activities
•Experience with SAP •Forklift Certified •Understanding of procurement, property and supply chain activities •Self-motivated •Work with limited supervision and grasp new concepts quickly. •Experience and successful execution in supporting and reviewing Basis of Estimates (BOE) for logistics and property functions in support of program pursuits.
Required Education (including Major):
Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin, Supply Chain, or similar Or 1 year with related Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (Bachelor Degree = 8 years of additional applicable experience). 169188
