Raytheon Technologies Contracts Negotiator in El Segundo, California
Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RIS) Contracts has an opening for a Contracts Negotiator.
This position would support the Global Hawk sustainment programs within the Resilient Navigation and Reconnaissance Solutions (RNRS) product line of the Secure Sensor Solutions (S3) Mission Area.
Responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts terms and proposals to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Other duties will include identifying risks and managing the administration of contracts post-award.
This person will act as the primary interface with customers during the proposal phase and must be prepared to negotiate sound business deals with our customers as well as provide guidance to the Program team.
The Contracts Negotiator will report to the Manager, Program Contracts – Operational Systems Sustainment Programs.
this position can be staffed in San Diego, CA, El Segundo, CA, McKinney, TX, or Aurora, CO
Required Skills:
Four (4) years of experience in contract administration or related work experience
Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, etc. and/or equivalent government regulations
Experience with proposal cost structure, performance requirements, delivery schedules and terms and conditions
Demonstrated business acumen, ability to clearly recognize risk elements in business transactions
Knowledge of program management principles, company policies and procedures
Experience with and in-depth knowledge of various contract types and change management
Professional presence complemented by outstanding written and verbal communication skills and influencing skills
Team Player with strong interpersonal skills working effectively within team environment and customers to drive results
Business Acumen-knowledge of financial business principles and understanding of applicability to
Government Contracts to provide business counsel to management and leadership during all phases of the program cycle it include front-end capture, proposal, negotiation, award and execution, and closeout
- Ability to obtain DoD security clearance
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

Working knowledge in the use and application of APEX, ICMS and SAP
Flexible and able to multitask while delivering timely, high quality products
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Law or related field
Desired Education:
- Certified Federal Contracts Management (CFCM) professional certification desired
In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $64,100 to $115,400; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
