Whether aloft in the skies aboard a fighter jet protecting the skies or an airborne surveillance platform monitoring developments on the ground, Raytheon’s Secure Sensor Solutions (S3) mission area is responsible for providing advanced capabilities for multiple types of tactical aircraft and other platforms. Part of the Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RIS) business, S3 provides capabilities that enable critical tasks---from target identification, aircraft navigation, and target engagement. The E-2D Receivers Deputy Program Manager role is a unique opportunity for a team member to gain exposure to the day to day responsibility of Program Management. This includes all aspects of the product life cycle – proposals, negotiations, baselining, and execution through contract completion. This role will report closely to the Program Manager and will require excellent communication and relationship developing skills to effectively impact and communicate with internal performers, suppliers, and multiple customers. This role will provide motivation to cross-functional teams and key partners to ensure effective execution of customer requirements to meeting company financials and programmatic goals, including on-time delivery, EAC, AOP bookings, sales and cash requirements.
•Minimum of 8 years of related professional working experience
•Experience negotiating and managing funding and resources within customer and company requirements
•Ability to collaborate daily with a cross-functional team in a healthy, extensive matrixed environment
•Must be able to proactively identify and implement opportunities for process and yield improvement, and supportive of business initiatives including Raytheon Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing
•Demonstrated capability to analyze data, and develop metrics and data visualization and to convey message to team and program key team members
•Demonstrates initiative, perseverance and creativity in problem solving.
•Must understand configuration management and engineering change processes
•Control Account Management experience needed
•Experience with MS Office, specifically MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint
•SAP experience and/or ERP systems knowledge
•Excellent oral and written communications skills, team strengthening, change management and team leadership experience and able to work with minimum direct supervision
•Ability to influence development of project goals and goals
•Excellent understanding of Defense Manufacturing processes and technologies
•Program Management Level 6 (or higher) certification
Required Education (including Major):
•Bachelor’s degree in a related field
