Raytheon’s Intelligence & Space Hardware Engineering Center is seeking a Senior Principal RF Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead to join the team in the Space Systems RF & Communications Electronics department.

The person hired for this position will be leading, mentoring, and working alongside a talented team towards the development, test, and integration of new state-of-the-art systems for space application that meets our customer’s descriptions and requirements.
An IPT Lead acts independently as guided by broad company policies and objectives. The selected candidate for this role will manage a multi-disciplinary group of engineers and will coordinate support with operations and supply chain. This individual will also be responsible for the development and administration of budgets, schedules, and performance standards aligned with the goal of meeting the overall quality, schedule, and budgetary milestones. He/she will be responsible for completing financial Estimate at Complete (EAC), leading program gate reviews, and will facilitate independent peer reviews of the work product. This selected candidate will also participate in new business activities that may include supporting the development of proposals, preparing bids, and developing basis of estimates.
Candidates for the IPT Lead role should have experience working engineering solutions based on program requirements towards a finished product, ensuring the robust design of RF circuits and assemblies. Using the application of advanced principles, theories, concepts, and techniques, the IPT Lead assists in providing solutions to a variety of technical problems that may be impeding program progress which may also require coordination of technologies across the program. The IPT Lead will also lead briefings and technical meetings for internal and external stakeholders / customers.
•Must have at least 10 years of related technical experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 8 years of experience with a Master's Degree
•Prior experience as an IPT Lead for space programs
•At least four years of demonstrated project leadership including cost, schedule, and technical responsibility of complex space electronics subsystems
•Experience leading electronics development (labor and material) for high-value programs
•Earned Value / Control Account Manager certification
•Experience developing and maintaining complex integrated master schedules
•Experience with developing technical baselines and cost volumes in response to Request for Proposals from the government
•Experience with supplier management for the development of new components and assemblies
•Exeperience managing engineering teams responsible for the development of RF communication hardware
•U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position requires the ability to obtain an DoD clearance within one year of start date.

•Prior experience in Aerospace and Defense
•Prior experience with avionic specification development
•Prior hands on experience in the design, analysis, development, bread-boarding, troubleshooting, integration and testing of RF circuitry for communication systems. Prior experience with the troubleshooting of complex RF systems, modules, CCAs, and components
•Existing DoD clearance
•Advanced engineering degrees and/or MBA
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline from an ABET accredited university.
Master’s degree and/or PhD in Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
