Raytheon Technologies Finance Associate Director, Prgrm Cost Cntrls in El Segundo, California
This is an exciting opportunity to join the ISR&C program area finance team within the RI&S Space
Systems Mission Area. This program area consists of a very broad and diverse portfolio of contracts with multiple customers and provides the most advanced ISR payloads, instruments, and mission processing for space applications. This dynamic program area contains several firm contract programs with multiple contract types (FFP, CPFF, and CPIF) and significant new business campaigns with awards forecasted for 2021. This position is for an Associate Director, Program Cost Controls for the ISR&C programs currently operating out of El Segundo, CA or Aurora, CO.
Primary responsibilities for our Associate Director include, but are not limited to, managing the financial forecasting and reporting, variance analysis, presenting at both internal and external reviews (PMR), Earned Value Management and compliance, Estimates at Completion (EACs), proposal oversight, and working with internal and external customers. Manage the program finance team by hiring, developing, mentoring, rotating employees. Coaching, hiring, mentoring the finance staff supporting program execution. Manage and provide oversight of investment portfolio (Capital, IR&D, NBI)
Typically, 12+ years of relevant financial work experience
Experience with consolidating and analyzing large financial data sets necessary to ensuring financial forecasts are accurate
Ability to effectively consolidated financial data and communicate financial information and provide strategic direction to the PM, IPTS, and the position to both internal and external customers
Utilize good leadership and organizational skills in focusing stakeholders on common finance goal by setting priorities and working within deadlines.
Strong interpersonal & communication skills, effective at working through issues and developing go forward plans.
U.S. Citizenship status with current Top Secret (TS) clearance (or equivalent crossover)
Current Top Secret - SSBI clearance is preferred
Demonstrate ability to be proactive, creative, and innovative and use critical and strategic thinking
Ability to quickly learn and utilize program management systems and tools
Independently create and accurately analyze financial data
Financial experience in the aerospace/defense industry in particular Space.
Prior program experience in Earned Value & Budget Baseline Management (EVMS)
Proficiency using SAP/APEX/PRISM/MRP
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
Master’s Degree in Business or related discipline
