Raytheon Technologies IT Cyber Security Risk Management Analyst in El Segundo, California

This is a temporary position of undetermined length. This position is based out of El Segundo with the majority of work being remote.

Job Description and Duties:

  • Analyze information in order to identify relevant facts and requirements

  • Develops and reports on key activity and performance and risk indicators concerning digital technology risk management .

  • Develop digital technology and cyber risk program standards, guides and trainings

  • Elicit and document stakeholder interviews concerning digital technology and cyber risks

  • Apply cyber and digital business risk methodologies to calculate and communicate high, low and most likely risk measurements

  • Work collaboratively with RI&S DT employees at all levels in a matrixed environment and our partners

  • Ensures all activities are in accordance with company and regulatory risk and compliance requirements

  • Facilitate technology teams in risk descriptions, risk analysis, and justifications for risk treatment paths

  • Assist with the growth and maturity of the RI&S digital technology risk program

  • Participate in special projects as directed

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years experience in technology, auditing, risk management, and/or in a quality or continuous improvement role

  • Computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, or Access)

  • Working knowledge of technology governance concepts; policy and standards development; documentation of risk management frameworks and ability to assist in the reporting of IT risk metrics.

  • Currency with trends in risk, cybersecurity and security compliance to include emerging cybersecurity risks to capably make recommendations regarding policy/standards/procedure updates

  • Must be a self-starter capable of multitasking and efficiently managing your time in a dynamic environment while requiring minimal levels of supervision

  • Effective writing, speaking, analytical, and customer interaction skills

  • Must possess the interpersonal skills necessary to deal courteously and effectively with a diverse group of individuals

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment, with demanding deadlines while ensuring internal/external customer needs are met

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Desired Education:

Risk related certifications such as CISSP, Security+, CRISC, CISA, other technology related certification, or currently in progress of working toward a certification
