Raytheon Technologies Learning and Development Specialist in El Segundo, California
This is a temporary position of undetermined length.
Raytheon Intelligence & Space Digital Technology OCIO – Workforce & Talent Management team executes strategies that enable specific organizational priorities and capability growth needs, works with leaders throughout the DT organization as well as collaborates with Learning and Development leaders throughout RIS and the enterprise.
WTM is responsible for the effective execution, facilitation, and delivery of learning and development in DT. This role will assist in developing and organizing DT job-specific development and programs aligned with technical acumen, career and professional growth, and retention of DT employees. This position reports directly to the RIS DT OCIO Workforce and Talent Management Associate Director.
Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in design, development, delivery or evaluation of learning or leadership initiatives in a deadline driven, team-oriented environment.
Develop and execute learning and development processes, standards or operational plans in support of DT strategy.
Drive employee experience while advancing DT learning and development.
Creation of technical or functional learning content and programs.
Knowledge and experience with adult learning (ADDIE, SAM, etc.), change management, and train the trainer.
Manage and facilitate learning courses and events.
Create, analyze, and report out on learning metrics, including strategic ties to the annual learning objectives.
Assess learning needs and align learning solutions for current and future business requirements, create and obtain leadership approval of DT learning and development strategies.
Support strategic learning investments.
Interacts with managers, directors and VP across DT on learning and development matters regarding performance, budgeting and analysis necessary to meet business goals.
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact and influence senior levels of leadership and diverse stakeholders.
Risk and Opportunity analysis skills.
Experience assessing competency or skill gaps and implementing resources to quickly accelerate necessary technical development.
Previous experience must include MS Office proficiency (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
Experience in group facilitation with an emphasis on learning transfer.
Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience across training development or instructional design concepts and processes, such as ADDIE or SAM.
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
