Challenges require developing & executing operational plans that involve consideration of multiple variables. These positions require individuals provide measurable results to demonstrate success when implementing business strategies and require the written and verbal skills needed to collaborate & lead others from their area of expertise.
All roles require a full or part time presence on-site, telecommuting ability will vary between position, and are generally organized around one or more of the following areas of expertise:
Warehouse Management – Managing daily storage operations responsible for receiving, put-away, picking, kitting, and final delivery.
Property Management – Satisfying stewardship requirements of customer & government owned assets in the control of RI&S.
Inventory Management – Managing physical & systemic inventories from raw materials to finished products.
3PL Management – Collaborating with outside Logistics vendors that provide services against contractual requirements (i.e., freight, fleet, warehousing, other services).
Pack/Ship Management – Work with internal & external stakeholders to assure on-time delivery of materials & contractual sell-off of final product. Requires expertise in best commercial packaging practices & shipping regulations for hazardous goods movement.
8 years of work experience demonstrating strong personnel leadership in a cross-functional team environment (Logistics, Operations, Supply Chain preferred).
Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, Mathematics, Procurement, or a related field.
Effective computer skills & the use of Microsoft Office
U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a background check that would not negate your ability to pursue a US DoD security clearance.
Qualifications we value:
Working knowledge of ITAR, Defense Security Services (DSS) regulations, Global Trade and Compliance, Department of Transportation (DOT), &/or Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
MS (or MBA) in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or related field.
Superior understanding of quantitative-based methodologies used in forming & executing root cause & corrective actions.
Experience working in an auditing environment such as those found within the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
