The California Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CA CMC) is seeking a strong, technically sound Operations leader for the role of 2nd shift Test supervisor who is committed and passionate about creating innovative, cost-effective solutions for the overall assembly, integration and test of the payload.
The successful candidate will serve as the 2nd shift Test supervisor on a large-scale, and very complex Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance and Communications (ISRC) Space Development Program. The successful candidate will work with the Chief Engineer and Operations Value Stream leader, to drive all Test execution activities on the program.
Responsibilities include leading a team of 15 bargaining unit touch labor employees through the testing and integration of the Space payload system from low level Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) and module test to a fully integrated system of hardware, software and firmware subsystems and components.
The successful candidate will interface with cross-functional product teams, program management, engineering, functional managers, as well as engineering, Production Control, and mission assurance to ensure the successful execution and delivery of the final system.
The CA CMC 2nd shift Assembly Integration and Test Supervisor will:
Supervise a bargaining unit team through the assembly, integration and testing of a complex electronics unit from electronic circuit card through unit level environmental testing on a high reliable system.
Achieve program objectives on schedule, and consistent with quality and technical standards while meeting the program cost targets
Foster culture in-line with high performance and cohesive teams necessary to meet program cost and schedule objectives.
Plan, coordinate, and communicate with the cross-functional team responsible for delivering Space systems, subsystems, and products.
Share oversight of execution on all aspects of integration, and test of the space work products
Work alongside the Chief Engineer, Value Stream Leader and other IPTLs to manage the test team.
Minimum of 6+ years demonstrated experience with at least 4 years working space test hardware and RF Testing.
Demonstrated leadership experience as supervisor Team Lead
Must have test knowledge of complex RF systems as applied to high reliability space systems
Experience in the testing of high reliability space products (Class A/B)
Fundamental understanding of RF principles and system capabilities
Knowledge of test methods to verify critical RF parameters and requirement
Experience with thermal, vibration and EMI testing
Experience in receiving unit and subsystems and
taking ownership of integrating and testing those elements for final sell-off
Experience with System and Subsystem Level Integration, Verification and Validation (IV&V)
Experience establishing and maintaining working relationship with all levels of the organization, including customers, users, and other peer groups
Must be a U.S. Citizen as the position will require the ability to attain a US Secret Clearance within 1 year of employment start date

Experience with RF tuning, calibration and phase noise measurement techniques
Experience in RF Communications and/or Radar Systems technical domains
Active TS/SCI or SSBI Clearance
- BS / BA from an accredited university with a major in Operations, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or related technical field
- MS / MA / MBA
from an accredited university with a major in Operations, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management or related technical field
