Raytheon Technologies Resilient Navigation, Program Mgmt in El Segundo, California

Job Description:

Responsible for managing Resilient Navigation (RNAV) competitive proposals and managing cost, schedule, and technical performance of Hand-Held, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle / Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAV/UAS), Alternate Navigation (Alt-Nav), and advanced technology GPS IRAD solutions. In addition, coordinate and manage successful customer testing events, such as Navigation Festival (NAVFEST) and Alternative Positioning, Navigation, and Timing Open Innovation Lab (APNT-OIL).

Communicates program status and forecasts with the stakeholders. The Program Manager must be able to provide leadership, direction, and execution management of the program to include working directly with functional leaders within the matrixed organization to ensure the programs are properly staffed with personnel that have the right skill sets as well as behaviors, setting priorities, resolving conflicts & barriers.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in program/project management, engineering, or technical field

• Proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels, including a matrixed environment

• Ability to influence and motivate team members and peers

• Ability to lead strategic and tactical initiatives as well as matrixed teams and staff

• Proven demonstration of leadership competencies including influential communications, strategic thinking, cultivating innovation, collaboration, developing talent, customer focus, and driving results

• Stellar communication and collaboration skills, including verbal, written and presentation

• Sound reasoning and decision-making ability; strong analytical skills

• Able to lead and motivate team members and be comfortable with raising issues in a timely manner

• Experience in cost account estimation, cost management, and risk assessment, as well as management systems

• Leadership and organizational abilities to plan and track program milestones

• Mentoring skills to enable IRAD staff to execute on technical tasks

• Project management skills

• U.S. Citizenship

Desired Skills:

• Effective interpersonal skills especially in team building and customer relationships

• Strong business sense to proactively identify and resolve problems, quickly and efficiently

• Experience working directly with customers, especially government customers

Required Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline

Desired Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Math, Science or other related technical discipline

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $115,000 to $224,300; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
