Raytheon Technologies Senior Manager Business Development in El Segundo, California

Secure Sensor Solutions (S3) is looking for a driven individual to be a member of the Strategy and Business Development team. This role is responsible for supporting and leading activities associated with new business captures in the Secure Sensor Solutions (S3) business area supporting F-15 business pursuits. Fluently navigate customer environments and able to drive outcomes that benefit products and our country’s warfighter. The successful candidate will support all business elements of capture; opportunity investigation, identification, and validation, competitive intelligence, price to win, and management of new business investment funds. A well-prepared candidate will be an aggressive self-starter with ability to lead complex capture teams and strategic pursuits, and present a comprehensive capture strategy to senior leaders of the organization. This role may have the opportunity to work remotely.

This role will interact at the Director and Senior levels of the S3 organization. Influential and effective written and verbal communication will be required.

This role will require:

  • Able to navigate the Pentagon, Air Combat Command, and the USAF Weapon School

  • Ability to access US only data systems

  • Travel required to develop strong customer relations and shape requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

*Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 12+ years of related work experience

  • Proven leader with a track record of success on winning complex strategic captures

  • Expert in organizing and leading multi-functional capture teams

  • Experience in performing comprehensive competitive assessments

  • Outstanding communications ability in both oral and written forms

  • Strong knowledge of domain technology

  • Established credibility with the U.S. Air Force customer community

  • Current Secret Clearance required day 1 of employment

Desired Skills:

  • Former Aircrew with strong knowledge of fire control radars and Electronic Warfare systems

  • F-15C/D/E experience in operations, test/evaluation, and tactics development

  • Experienced in proposal organization, processes, best practices tools and deliverables.

  • Subject matter expert in current acquisition approaches, both international and domestic

  • Experience in the use of modeling, simulation and CONOPS development to drive customer shaping

  • Understanding of financial business models

  • Holds current Top Secret, SCI, SSBI
