Raytheon Technologies Associate Director, Source to Pay Implementation in Farmington, Connecticut

Raytheon Technologies is seeking a highly motivated, goal orientated Source to Pay (S2P) Project Manager to join our Supply Chain Supplier Performance and Tools team. The candidate will work in a fast-paced environment to manage the design, development, integration and implementation of the S2P enterprise solution to support strategic initiatives and synergy opportunities. The role will help identify best practices for harmonization as well as guidance on how to best approach new technology integration. This role requires someone with proven experience as a project manager who possesses strong analytical, communication, project organizational skills and the ability to influence without authority. The candidate must be able to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously throughout the organization and at all levels of leadership.

Duties Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Lead project initiation, definition, planning, coordination, and delivery of key strategic initiatives

  • Coordinate with senior leaders to define business objectives, determine scope and funding needs, and establish business cases supporting project investments

  • Select, develop and leverage appropriate technical and business resources needed for successful project execution

  • Align project team around project vision, strategy, goals, and business objectives

  • Track team member performance

  • Manage cross-functional project teams

  • Coordinate and control team activities including implementation, process and organizational change activities

  • Developing business cases, justifications, and cost/benefit analyses in addition to project financial analysis

  • Prepare execution plans to ensure projects complete on schedule, within budget, meeting technical requirements, and achieving business objectives

  • Manage project resources including budget, schedule, team members, and subject matter experts

  • Assess and manage project risk

  • Maintain project repositories

  • Identify and engage appropriate technical and business resources needed for successful project execution

  • Lead regular project reviews with customers and stakeholders, including senior IT and business leaders

  • Coordinate and maintain program communications

  • Document and review lessons learned

  • Identify and establish effective internal and external relationships to accomplish project objectives

  • Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team

  • Manage relationships with all internal and external suppliers and stakeholders

  • Define and manage readiness elements that support achieving business and financial objectives

  • Ensure project results are of the highest caliber, meeting technical and behavioral objectives, business case targets, and planned value

Required Experience:

  • Working with teams to define & implement IT solution architectures, software development, software configuration/integration, & IT infrastructure implementations

  • Managing of multiple simultaneous projects

  • Familiarity with Agile/SAFE, DevOps, Waterfall methodologies

  • Influencing and working across multiple organizations and levels, as well as across multiple geographic regions

  • Combining strong technical acumen with clear communication and stakeholder leadership to identify requirements, and manage tradeoffs

  • Communicating the impact of emerging technologies and industry trends on operational workflows and provide recommendations

  • Demonstrated skill leading and participating in virtual meetings

  • Elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources

  • Defining and aligning enterprise processes for digitization prior to investing in technology solutions in order to maximize Return on Investment (ROI)

  • Comfortable working independently and in team-oriented, collaborative environments

  • Proficient use of Microsoft o365 applications

  • Proven ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams and executive stakeholders to communicate strategy and direction

  • Executing a communications and change plan to reach targeted audiences at the appropriate times and with relevant information and support

  • Minimum 12 year’s applicable experience

Desired Experience:

  • Familiarity with RTX Passport process, formal project management methodologies

  • Project Portfolio Management (PPM)

  • Project Management certification a plus

  • Six Sigma certification a plus

Required Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, Business Management or related discipline or equivalent combination of IT PM work experience plus schooling/certifications

Desired Education:

Master’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Business or Finance or related field
