Job Description Summary

We’re looking for a highly motivated and collaborative communications professional to join the Raytheon Technologies Enterprise Services Communications team as a Service Communication Manager.

In this role, s/he role will partner with senior leaders, subject matter experts and project teams across our service areas – i.e., Finance, Human Resources, Digital, etc. – to develop strategic communication plans to help drive awareness, adoption and visibility for new and existing programs and services companywide.

The ideal candidate is a creative, driven and professional communicator who can manage multiple projects and priorities, develop and execute communication plans effectively with minimal oversight, align to strategy, and find new ways to engage employees and drive adoption of our services. Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

  • Manage communications planning and deployment for the assigned service areas, creating communication strategies that keep employees informed and engaged, and translate business need into employee action.

  • Be a strategic and trusted communications partner to service area leadership teams, providing communications guidance on complex and business critical priorities, as well as provide counsel on when, how and to whom we should communicate.

  • Collaborate with the broader Enterprise Services and Raytheon Technologies Communications teams (Business, Corporate and other Function Communicators) to ensure messaging and communications tools and materials are aligned.

  • Develop meaningful and actionable metrics to measure reach and effectiveness of communications.

    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations.

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in an internal communications role.

  • Proven skills in working multiple initiatives and complex tasks, with the ability to consistently exceed communication objectives in a frequently changing environment.

  • Demonstrated ability in partnering to drive communications strategy and developing strategic communication plans and narratives around key initiatives.

  • Experience partnering to influence key stakeholders and align multiple priorities to a common goal.

  • Proven ability interacting with employees at all levels (including senior leadership) and simplifying complex messages based on audience needs.

  • Ability to think through and conceptualize program frameworks and execution.

  • Strong business acumen, detail-oriented organizational and interpersonal skills, resourceful and energetic, with strong writing and storytelling skills.

  • Demonstrated skills as a critical thinker and proven knowledge of operational and organizational communications.

  • Desire to be an effective team member and to contribute proactively to group success.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
