Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an executive payroll subject matter expert focusing on qualified/non-qualified savings plans, equity plans, and benefit plans

  • Effectively manages the relationship and oversight of critical activities of business process (BPO) providers and vendors.

  • Partners with RTX Executive Compensation and Benefits to research and resolve complex payroll issues, proactively recommend and implement mitigation efforts to prevent recurrence.

  • Participate as subject matter expert on strategic payroll initiatives and key projects.

  • Collaborate on and successfully execute all executive payroll activities related annual enrollment and year end activities.

  • Respond timely and accurately to audit requests, escalated issues, aged items, and recon accounting items.

  • Communicate with executive level leadership

  • Translate RTX executive compensation policies into appropriate payroll requirements for payroll technology improvement initiatives.

  • Perform as a subject matter expert in executive compensation plans.

  • Demonstrate expertise in problem solving, analysis, issue resolution, and reporting.

  • Focus on quality when servicing RTX platinum and executive employees.

  • Support the ongoing alignment of RTX payroll practices and governance standards.

Experience:

  • Strong experience in an active, advanced customer service environment; preferably in payroll, customer care, and/or benefits related industry.

  • Experience with ADP, Workday or other enterprise payroll system experience.

  • Solid analytical skills/systems analysis capabilities with knowledge of high tech pay modeling tools and databases.

  • Knowledge of deferred compensation plans, equity plans, and benefit plans.

Education:

  • Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelors’ Degree 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling/certifications in lieu of degree

Citizenship

  • This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
