The Regulatory Compliance Manager will oversee a wide range of regulatory compliance program requirements, with particular emphasis on cybersecurity and on the overall protection of personal information. The professional will play a key role in maturing the cybersecurity privacy, GDPR, HIPAA and PCI compliance programs and is expected to operate and perform at the highest levels of confidentiality and integrity.
The focus of this role is working within the RTX DT Cybersecurity department reporting to the Sr. Manager, Policy & Compliance.
Serve as the subject matter expert for cybersecurity privacy compliance with regulations such as the European Union’s General Privacy Data Protection (GDPR), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and other relevant state and federal regulations as application.
Enhance Digital Technology’s privacy compliance program to ensure all application regulatory requirements within the Cybersecurity organization are properly supported
Perform regular Cybersecurity privacy control assessments and work with control owners to implement system security measures.
Monitor privacy issues within the Cybersecurity organization to ensure timely resolution of gaps.
Partner with the RTX Privacy team to support all relevant Cybersecurity privacy requirements.
Communicate privacy security related issues and risks to team members and leadership.
7 Years Experience with BS or BA Degree in a technical program desired
Or Advanced Degree with 5 years experience desired
Minimum of 5-10 years experience evaluating IT controls
Previous experience with hUTC or hRTN preferred
Previous experience performing IT audits, risk assessments or other similar Information Security and Information Risk functions
Working knowledge of privacy regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA and PCI
Working knowledge of Industry accepted Information Security and IT Governance Standards such as NIST, CIS Top 20 and ISO 27000
Ability to work independently in a dynamic, unstructured environment
Strong process orientation and ability to develop and follow standard work; attention to detail
Organizational skills to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced working environment
