The RTX Intelligent Automation Program has made a commitment to deliver 5 million productivity hours by 2025 through robotics & process automation. This goal has been communicated to the RTX SLT, Board of Directors and investors. To-date, the Automation program has accomplished 1.5M productivity hours through 300+ automations and 125+ bots. To scale to 5M by 2025, the Automations program needs to expand its reach to untapped areas and optimize and expand ways of delivering automation technology.
We are seeking an Automation Product Manager, responsible for working with the Automation Program Leader, Automation Technology Leader, technology teams, enterprise architecture and BU/functional partners on their business processes & challenges to identify opportunities for integrated automation solutions across RPA, BPM, Machine Learning and other technologies. The Product Manager will be responsible for providing more seamless partnership and consumer experience across the automation technologies, and also provide input into the Automations product roadmap based on business consumer needs and backlog. As the Automations program continues to bring various technologies and heritage teams together, this leader will be on the front lines of providing in depth partnership with our functional consumers especially with business functions that are newer to the Automation technology capabilities and greater up front partnership and opportunity development. This role will pull forward expertise from the RPA, BPM, Machine Learning and other technology SME's, while providing dedicated focus on leaning in with the function on their opportunities and challenges. Working with the Enterprise Data Services team to leverage the Machine Learning and data solutions, and bringing that technology to bear as part of the integrated automation solution offering will also be a critical expectation of the role.

Gathers customer insights and requirements to define, at an architectural and design level of detail, technical solutions that meet desired business outcomes and deliver value
Learn newer technologies quickly to bring solutions to problems
Contribute to the continual improvement of intake and delivery processes
Inspire, lead, and recruit highly capable team members and work in a matrixed model with SME's from other teams
Instill a highly innovative culture and collaborative team environment
Qualifications & Experience
7+ years’ experience in technical and product management roles, including experience designing and delivering solutions
Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Excellent consumer relationship and delivery experience, with ability to communicate at all levels in the organization
Experience with Product Management and Machine Learning is preferred
Demonstrates ability to influence and consult (e.g. providing options with pros, cons, and risks) while helping in solving business and/or technical problems
Demonstrates interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, and ability to foster cultural diversity
Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 10 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 7 years experience.
