Job Description
Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) is looking for an entry-level Supply Chain Property Inventory Specialist to join its team in Forest, Mississippi.
You will be responsible for interfacing with Raytheon's Property, Program, Operations, and Contracts personnel to coordinate Property Inventory activities related to Government and/or Customer Property as required by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Contract terms and conditions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
A working knowledge and proper application of governing business unit’s directive documents, federal regulations, contractual requirements, and sound business practices
Creation and distribution of reports
Researching regulations and best practices
Assisting in audits
Conducting property training
Creating and collecting performance statistics
Coordination of property control activities to ensure continual accountability of government, associated contractor, or company property is in accordance with applicable government regulations and/or corporate policy
Represents organization as a prime contact on projects
Working with program and other functional personnel, as well as other duties as assigned, without appreciable direction
Conduct physical inventory of Property Assets
Required Skills:
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize competing tasks to complete assignments with minimal supervision
Good analytical and problem solving skills and RCCA (Root Cause, Corrective Action) tool knowledge
Experience with corrective action analysis
Experience working with information systems and databases, data collection and analysis
Ability to quickly grasp systems and tools
Able to travel (within US)
Desired Skills:
Experience with DCMA (understanding of FAR language; contractual language) to obtain effective loss reports
Knowledge of and experience with Uniform Property System (UPS) and SAP
Knowledge of Government reporting systems i.e. WAWF, Etools, PIEE
NPMA Certifications CPPM/CPPS/CPPA
Six Sigma certification
Required Education:
- Completed bachelor’s degree
U.S. citizenship status is required as this position requires the ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance after hire and within the first year of employment.
