Military C2 Finance is seeking a talented Program Cost Schedule & Controls Analyst to support our Finance team on one or more current and/or future International or DOD programs. The international program support could include both DCS or FMS contracts.
You will need to have advanced knowledge of all program control procedures, and the position will be required to perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are performed within agreed-upon parameters.
You should possess strong technical knowledge of finance and program control, strong problem solving skills and have good communication skills. You should be comfortable working independently and in a team environment, and have the ability to multi-task and work on several different program issues concurrently. You shall be comfortable working with and presenting to the program leadership team, lead engineers and other cross functional organizations. You should also be dedicated to continued process improvements and the building of efficiencies into all operational aspects of the organization.
This position can be a Sr Analyst, Program Cost Controls or Principal Specialist Program Cost Controls, based on the candidate's qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Manage the program’s EVMS including monitor and reporting of performance, EAC development, perform detailed financial analysis for both program and functional area, define and understand variances to baseline, EAC, sales/labor and manpower forecasts.
EAC and forecast risk & opportunity development
Frequent connecting interaction with various functions and multiple levels of the organization, including working day-to-day with program managers, finance managers and functional program leads.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related
Minimum 2-5 years of professional experience in related finance role
Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Experience with variance analysis
Experience with Program Cost controls
Qualifications We Value:
Experience with EVMS (Earned Value Management)
Experience with Estimate at completion (EAC) process and general accounting practices
Advanced knowledge and experience with EVMS Tool Sets (APEXEV, PMX Tool Suite, SAP, APEX, wInsight)
Knowledge of EV Management Systems
Strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical and problem solving skills
Working knowledge of cash management including unbilled analysis, invoicing and collections
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently, as a team member, and with all levels of management
Ability and willingness to travel to support Program activity if required
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to identify issues and implement corrective action plans that produce positive results
High attention to detail and accuracy
Continuous improvement mindset ; R6Sigma certified
Experience with financial forecasting, Annual Operating & 5 Year Plan development
