Raytheon Technologies' Operations Production Control professional understands and applies material management principles that enable them to develop solutions to a variety of problems. This person processes short text engineering purchase requisitions an also processes some direct orders. This person oversees engineering shop floor demand and supply in support of achieving MRP schedules that support customer requirements. This person is also responsible for analyzing material availability in support of contract requirements, communicating priorities, identifying barriers and implementing solutions which enable the engineering development teams to meet schedule; taking the appropriate actions to ensure program goals are achieved. The successful candidate must be able to coordinate activities between numerous groups and clearly communicate program material status and identified risks. The successful candidate must be able to effectively communicate within an engineering team environment, using strong SAP troubleshooting skills and an extensive understanding of Material Requirements Planning to look for innovative solutions and to provide leadership. This individual will be accountable for: Inventory accuracy; Supply Health Metrics; Work with Stakeholders & Peers to develop and implement release strategy; and Mitigate Supply Risk. This individual will also be expected to promote keys values, facilitate problem resolution.
2+ years of Material Planning in a Manufacturing Environment similar to Raytheon Technologies (Government Contractor)
Must be a U.S. Citizen with a current/active Secret Security Clearance or ability to attain within year 1 of employment start date
Computer literate in Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook/Skype
Ability to multi task and work well under pressure
Strong knowledge of and troubleshooting experience in Material Requirement Planning (MRP) and SAP
An understanding of the application and concepts of Production and Planning Control fundamentals including MRP, Inventory
Management, Supply & Demand, Logistics, Procurement, Capacity Planning, Scheduling, and Lean Manufacturing
Good written and verbal communication skills
Must be well organized, problem solver and innovative thinker
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate with various disciplines
Strong SAP experience
Fundamental knowledge of government contracting requirements
Program Management experience
Required Education (including Major):
Bachelor’s Degree (Business or Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field)
