F135 Field Operations is seeking a Field Service Engineer (FSE) to serve supporting both the F-35 Final Assembly & Checkout (FACO) and Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul & Upgrade (MROU) operations Fort Worth, Texas. Selected individual will assist with the following activities:
Coordinate F135 propulsion system support activities with the P&W team and Lockheed Martin.
Support Government Property Management processes for program execution, to include but not limited to Support Equipment (SE), tooling, supply and government processes.
Work directly with P&W Customer Support Engineering in addressing technical questions regarding Action Request (AR) submissions.
Use initiative and judgment to identify problems, conduct investigations to determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Participate and contribute to P&W Site overall compliance objectives to include: International Trade Compliance (ITC), Quality initiatives (CORE), & Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S).
Some Travel may be required to backfill FSEs both domestic and internationally. This is estimated as less than 10% travel.
This position is based at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, Fort Worth, TX
Bachelor’s Degree in related engineering/technical field, plus appropriate experience
5+ years of professional experience in engine/aircraft maintenance, logistics, logistics support, supply chain management, or support equipment management.
working closely with Pratt & Whitney internal customers and enablers
US Citizenship is required due to government contracts. Must be able to obtain or maintain security clearance
Must be able to support occasional off-shift coverage and/or extended hours.
Possess Excellent Judgment and professional maturity
Strong leadership skills
Possess great strength in, Presentation skills, communication skills, self-motivation, and computer skills
Strong desire to succeed and pursue personal growth and developmental opportunities.
Experience with aviation maintenance and production information systems (NALCOMIS, OOMA, SAP, MERLIN, Business Objects, etc.); ALIS experience preferred.
Experience in F-35/F135 production, flight testing, customer support, maintenance, and/or program management.
Prior military service in maintenance/logistics also a plus.
