Raytheon Technologies Manager III-Program Management in Fullerton, California
The Data Links Program Area, a fast-paced team within the Tactical Communications Systems Product Area, requires a Program Manager responsible for TacLink Programs. This role is primarily responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of data, hardware, and software releases for numerous customers (domestic and international). This includes working with all the applicable functional organizations and with Customers to ensure alignment. The role requires catalyzing proposals that will help ensure financial results and annual planning details for the 5 Year Plan. This includes working with the customers to determine opportunities and needs, shape acquisitions, work with functional organizations to estimate efforts, working with Pricing group to generate Cost and Financial Summaries, preparing for and presenting Gate reviews, and working with Contracts to generate offer letters. Following proposal submissions, work with customers that will strengthen the process to contract award.
•10 years’ experience with increasing levels of responsibility and guidance on programs
•Strong in financial concepts that ensure accurate forecasting
•Strong in program execution to ensure maximum margins
•Strong communication skills, including interactions with customers and high-level leadership
•Technical proficiency in TacLink (or similar) technologies to address issues raised by the technical staff and make informed decisions.
•Know when to ask for help.
•Strong understanding of change management.
•Strong knowledge of different types of contracts (FFP, CPFF, T&M) and the pros and cons of each
•Earned Value Management certified.
•Understanding of export controls.
•Transparency in all transactions.
•Raytheon PM Certification (Level 5 or higher).
•Strong team leadership experience.
•Proficient in MS Office Tools.
•ACTIVE Secret Clearance
•Excellent communication skills.
•Strong technical background in TacLink.
•Deep understanding of export controls.
Required Education (including Major):
•Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Engineering or Marketing or Finance (equivalent experience)
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
