Raytheon Technologies Principal Commodity Management & Sourcing Specialist in Fullerton, California

Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RI&S) is seeking a Principal Commodity Management & Sourcing Specialist for the Air Traffic Systems (ATS) procurement team within the Communications & Airspace Management Systems (CAMS) organization. The Commodity Management & Sourcing Principal Specialist will manage subcontracts involving complex materials and services and will work within an IPT environment. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

-Utilizing source selection techniques

-Analyzing supplier quotes/proposals

-Performing price analyses

-Conducting negotiations

-Identifying supplier risks

-Interfacing with Integrated Product Teams to understand technical challenges and providing solution options for "buy" technologies

-Providing risk and opportunity analysis for early capture as it relates to introduction of new suppliers and the mitigation of risks with regard to early supplier decisions

-Ensuring requirements (prime contract, quality, terms and conditions) are properly communicated to suppliers

-Managing supplier performance to cost, schedule and quality requirements

-Interfacing with internal and supplier cross-functional organizations

-Compiling and analyzing information to keep informed on industry trends and manufacturing processes

-Assisting with the development of bids and agreements

-Supporting early supplier identification and engagement for new business pursuits

-Executing to customer requirements including government regulations, public law and Raytheon policies and procedures.

Desired Skills:

•Experience in a similar contracts/procurement role with responsibility for sourcing, placing orders, negotiations, PO documentation, supplier management, and overall compliance to FAR/DFAR/AMS requirements, as well company policies and procedures

•Experience with international requirements (including Import/Export regulations)

•Experience with the creation of Long Term Agreements

•Experience with Six Sigma and productivity improvement

•Experience with SAP

•Masters Degree preferred

Required Education (including Major):

•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field OR Military experience may substitute for some requirements. Military technical certification credit for military experience (* military personnel who have been formally trained or have relevant experience obtained while in service versus civilian training)183292
