Raytheon Technologies Integration and Test Engineer in Goleta, California

The Raytheon Electronic Warfare Systems Engineering department in Goleta, California has an immediate opening for an Integration & Test Lead. This role provides critical integration and test (I&T) leadership to multiple product families within the Electronic Warfare (EW) mission area relating to Electronic Support (ES) and Electronic (EA) capability.

Responsibilities include involvement in multiple stages of system development, from system architecture development to developmental testing and system verification activities. The role requires I&T leadership within engineering teams as well as coordination with logistics and security to ensure successful demonstrations both on-site and at remote locations.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 8 years related system engineering experience in EW or Radar programs including prior leadership experience.

  • Knowledge of RF/Microwave principles and system and subsystem-level analysis methodologies.

  • Familiarity with and experience using lab test equipment.

  • Familiarity with embedded software design and digital design.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to present data and explain results to subcontractor, senior level executives and customers.

  • Prior leadership experience with cross-disciplinary teams to coordinate multi-faceted technical, logistic, and security operations in a complex multiple stakeholder environment.

  • Must Have Active (or active within past 24 months) DoD Secret Clearance.

  • Occasional business travel is required.

    Desired Skills:

  • Experience in I&T of EW systems at military lab/range/flight test facilities.

  • Experience in radar threat analysis and EW technique development/analysis.

  • Working knowledge of I&T principles/tools for DevSecOps, digital engineering, and Agile.

  • Signal processing development, modeling, and test.

  • Experience with EW/RF/Microwave systems design and test.

  • Experience with special test equipment (STE) development.

  • Familiarity with Xilinx, Altera, MATLAB, Simulink, SVN Subversion.

  • Experience contributing to proposal technical and cost volumes.

  • Top Secret security clearance and Special Access – SAP/SAR.

    Required Education (including major):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline.

    Desired Education (including major):

  • Master’s / Ph.D degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline.

    • U.S. Person is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

    • U.S. Person is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
