Job Responsibilities:

• Requirements based Digital Hardware Design & Verification (FPGA)

• Formal Requirements Capture

• Conceptual Design/Hierachical Decomposition

• Detailed Design (VHDL)

• Module Level Verification

• Implementation

• HW Integration

• Formal Design Documentation

• Design Verification via HDL simulation/code assertions/HW verification on-target

• Development of Verification Cases, of Test Enviroment & of Verification Procedures

• Performing Verification

• Formal Documentation of Results

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical - , Communications - , Aerospace - and Astronautics Engineering or comparable studies

• Minimum 1 year of project experience in digital HW design (industry or academic) desirable

• Hardware Description Language: VHDL, Verilog

• Scripting Language (e.g. TCL)

• Windows/Linux (user, scripting)

• Mentor ModelSim/QuestaSim

• Xilinx ISE/Vivado

• MicroSemi Libero

• DOORS/JAMA

• SVN/Clearcase

• Avionics HW Development Standards (DO-254), alternatively automotive or medical

• Video Standards (e.g. NTSC/PAL component video, VGA, SMPTE SDI, Display Port, ARINC 818)

• Modern interconnects (PCI-Express, Ethernet)

• Legacy I/O standards

• Digital Video/Image Processing

• Memory Interface Standards (DDR3/4)

• Peripheral Interconnects

• Fluent English skills desirable

• Good communication and team work skills

• Ownership and accountability to work and to team
