Raytheon Technologies Digital Technology Team Leader, Asset Management - Remote in Huntsville, Alabama

The Digital Technology (DT) asset planning and provisioning lead supports the asset lifecycle stages from plan to receipt. The lead is responsible for identifying opportunities and setting the overall direction of the team. The lead will drive tactical execution and operations for asset planning, request fulfillment, acquisition support, and receiving.

  • Serves as central point of contact for execution, operations, and communication of asset lifecycle stages from plan to receipt

  • Provides guidance to team members on priorities to meet goals and objectives

  • Supports Planning & Provisioning Optimization lead to define strategy and priorities while enabling affordability and accountability

  • Document DT asset processes and activities in support of asset planning and provisioning

  • Executes asset acquisition strategy and recommends efficiencies in how we obtain assets

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with vendors and supply chain personnel to implement and maintain order acknowledgement process

  • Coordinates issuance of asset requisitions, purchase orders, and tracks progress to receipt

  • Expedites as needed asset receipt to maintain predictable performance

  • Monitors hardware asset inventory levels to help influence fulfillment decisions

  • Communicates with service owners to accelerate asset deployment efficiency

  • Maintains data integrity for asset planning and provisioning requirements

  • Partners and collaborates across Digital Technology (DT) stakeholders for collective success

  • Acts as a subject matter expert on DT asset planning and provisioning to provide advice to other stakeholders when needed

  • Supports stakeholders in DT and audit to ensure adherence to enterprise compliance, risk management and information security guidelines

  • Keeps abreast of new tools, techniques and best practices in the industry and works to incorporate them in the organization when possible

  • Monitors and reports metrics to appropriate leadership

  • Supports DT Asset Management Center of Excellence activities

  • Provide additional assistance on ad hoc requirements as necessary

This is a multi-level position based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience, and requirements for this position. Qualified candidate may be able to work remote at management discretion.

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or STEM

and 4 years of relevant work experience

or a MS degree in IT or STEM and 2 years of directly related experience; minimum of 10 years’ of relevant in lieu of a degree

  • Experience with

analytical and data management

  • Experience with planning and utilizing financial tools and techniques

  • Experience with facilitation skills


experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders

  • Experience in developing plans, prioritizing activities and driving execution

  • US Citizenship is required

  • Experience in the Defense or Aerospace industry

  • Experience in leading teams

  • Experience using asset management solutions and tools

  • Proficiency with SAP, ServiceNow, or similar systems/tools

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
