Successful candidate for the Summer 2021 Internship position will participate in analog design teams supporting primarily military programs through application of EE tools and design processes. Chosen candidate will be a team member working on the design, analysis and support of Missiles & Defense electronics products. This may include digital, analog, power and/or mixed signal circuit card assemblies.
Depending on the individual’s area of interest and experience, responsibilities may include:
• Participating as a team member in detailed circuit design
• Functional analysis
• Functional verification testing
• Working with engineering and production personnel to troubleshoot and provide root cause and corrective action to design and process issues
The chosen candidate will learn frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, concepts and techniques. Candidates will be expected to provide recommendations to a variety of technical problems of appropriate scope and complexity, working under general supervision. Successful candidates should expect to be immersed in a fast-paced, team-based, and challenging technical environment where an individual with talent and initiative can stand out and thrive.
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.
Junior, Senior or Post-Graduate level that is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) degree.
Coursework in Analog Circuit design and/or Control Theory.
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required.
ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. 3.0 cumulative GPA desired.
