Job Summary:

The Program Integrator (PI) is a direct report to the Program Management Excellence (PMX) Core Program Support Directorate and dotted line to the Program Manager for Radar Test Contract as a member of the Program Leadership Team .

RTC Test t encompasses several radar platforms Army Navy/Transportable Radar Surveillance and Control Model 2 (AN/TPY-2) radars, the Sea-Based X-Band Radar (SBX), Upgraded Early Warning Radars (UEWR), and the COBRA DANE (CD) in execution of BMDS test related activities that includes planning, executing, and analyzing sensor performance in Ground Test CONOPS, respectively. Given the number of customers in various countries, the variability of the program type and size, the portfolio is extremely complex.

The PI is responsible for program integration, coordination, and control and direct engagement with the portfolio team and functional partners, in pursuit of day to day program execution; advocating Program Management (PM) plans, processes, and business objectives; the implementation of PM best practices.

This position is located in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Assist with the day to day program execution cadence (battle rhythm) of the program, ie risk review boards, program management reviews, failure review boards, configuration control boards, etc.

  • Execute and maintain Program Management Plans and Program Directives, consistent with program requirements and RMS policies.

  • Collaborate with other CPS personnel to ensure Top-level Master Phasing and the Integrated Master Schedules meet program strategies, objectives and milestones.

  • Identify and implement key program metrics.

  • Work with Team of Five, IPT and Functional leads to implement and drive closure of corrective actions as warranted.

  • Coordinate customer program reviews, prepare for customer visits.

  • Deploy Program Management Best Practices to include Earned Value.

  • Lead the production team of five in day to day operations

  • Interface directly with customers and suppliers regarding production contract performance and execution

  • Identify and deploy PM best practices

  • Integrate risk and opportunities into program EACs

    Qualifications You Must Have:

  • A minimum of 10 years of business, program, or project management professional experience

  • Experience using financial analysis tools and experience with project management tools and/or systems

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing, operations, engineering, or Aerospace and Defense environment

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing, operations, engineering, or Aerospace and Defense environment

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, with experience balancing technical, cost, and schedule constraints to meet project deadlines and expectations

  • Required Education: BA/BS
