As a

Training and Technical Manual Developer for the

Prime Power Unit

,

you’re an integral member of the

Terminal High Altitude Air Defense (THAAD)

Radar training team working with the customer.

In this role, you will focus on assessing, researching and analyzing engineering data that includes engineering drawings, and schematics. Using this data you'll develop and create detailed training and technical manuals for the THAAD Radar Prime Power Unit (PPU) primarily, and provide input to all THAAD Radar system component development.

You’ll also leverage your research and analysis skills in creating high-quality data and information for training and technical manuals that adhere to MIL-STD-40051 as well as updating Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL)

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance.

Except in rare circumstances, only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Required Skills:

6+ years’ experience developing technically oriented manuals in a military or civilian environment

At a Grade G09, 4+ years of experience in the aforementioned areas along with a relevant Master's Degree may be considered for this job.

Experience with research and analysis in an engineering, manufacturing or other technical environment

US Citizenship is required.

Desired Skills:

Experience with the Fleet of THAAD Radar system and components

THAAD Radar PPU experience at the operator and training level of expertise.

Hands on experience and certification on generators, power units and electronics for power operation

Experience with development of training and technical manuals within the MIL-STD 40051 requirements.

Experience with MIL-STD-40051 for Technical Manuals.

Experience in development RPSTL within MIL-STD-40051 and/or S1000D standards

Detail oriented with strong commitment to quality

Ability to work in a highly collaborative team setting and successfully navigate a fast-paced, results oriented, deadline driven environment

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience leading project teams and effective communication skills.

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree. 8+ years of relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
