Raytheon Technologies Contract Negotiator in Indianapolis, Indiana

This is a temporary position of undetermined length.

This is an exciting opportunity to support RTX in strategic digital procurement driving efficiency into the organization. The Contracts Negotiator will support legal team through contracts management and administration, negotiations and research. Major responsibilities include:

  • Project tracking and reporting on contract management dispositions

  • Maintaining / updating contract templates

  • Assisting with obtaining, tracking, storing and providing contracts and contract data to/from multiple departments

  • Liaise with different departments to coordinate information and data gathering

  • Negotiate simple Statements of Work (SOW) and Orders

  • Strong understanding of contract terms, structures and principles

  • Strong oral and writing ability to communicate in an open, candid, clear, concise, and timely manner

  • Negotiation skills with ability to define strategies and lead negotiations

  • Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills

  • Self-motivation to adapt to change easily and work both independently and in a highly matrixed team environment

  • Experience working in a very fast paced environment, with high volumes, where prioritization is required to be effective

    Required Skills:

  • 5 plus years corporate paralegal or contract management experience

  • Solid skills in all Microsoft Office products (In particular Word, PowerPoint, Excel);

  • Proficient in Adobe Professional; Document Management Tools; Collaboration environments (Sharepoint, other)

  • Knowledgeable in conducting document comparisons and redlining documents

    Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of digital / technology agreements / terms

    Required Education:

Bachelor's degree (preferably in Contracts, Business Administration, Business Law, Finance, or related discipline)
