RIS is seeking a Software or Computer Engineer to perform Software Configuration Management (SWCM).

The Software Configuration Management Engineer will:

  • Administer the software version control repositories

  • Develop scripts to support software builds and deployments

  • Perform configuration controlled software builds and releases

  • Implement, improve and train the program CM processes and interface with other engineering disciplines to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems

  • Exercise great attention to detail with respect to managing software development environments and program software libraries

  • Communicate status to SWCM leadership

    This position requires the candidate to work in a dynamic environment in which evolving program priorities dictate individual task priority. This position is part of a larger SWCM team and requires regular collaboration with team members. The candidate must be comfortable communicating in both oral and written formats.

    Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of software development lifecycles

  • 2+ years of related experience

  • Ability to work independently while able to support team goals and communicate program activities

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

  • Sense of urgency; ability to meet challenging deadlines and experience meeting short-turn and high-pressure deadlines

    Desired Skills:

    • Understanding of basic configuration management concepts
  • Software development and automation scripting experience

  • Software Development: C++, Java

  • Computer Scripting: PERL, Python, ANT

  • Development Build Tools: ClearQuest, ClearCase, WindRiver Workbench, Wind River Tornado

  • Experience with PERL, Python, ANT, Gradle, Jenkins

  • Ability to read engineering drawings and knowledge of product structures .

  • ability to obtain a security clearance

    Required Education (including Major):

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, STEM degree preferred.

  • A cumulative GPA of 3.0+ is strongly desired

    In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $55,500 to $114,500; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills
