Job Description

Raytheon Intelligence & Space is seeking an excellent leader for a Depot Operations position as the Program Manager (PM) for the Crane Radar Restoration program. The Program Manager shall acquire, train, and maintain a sufficient number of qualified and experienced personnel to meet performance goals. The Program Manager needs to be a strategic thinker with the experience to implement management and control procedures that afford early recognition of problem areas and expeditious reporting of problems. An effective candidate must have depot operations (overhaul & repair) maintenance, and supply-chain-management background. An effective candidate will provide leadership and direct-management to ensure adherence to program schedules, costs, milestones and technical performance, and coordinate/lead proposal preparation. The Program Manager will be accountable for achieving all internal financial goals, supporting process improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance to all applicable policies and procedures.

The Program Manager will work closely with our Navy customer to ensure effective daily operations, and timely resolution of any programmatic concerns and foster meaningful working relationships.

This position will be responsible to lead a team of engineers, technicians and logisticians who provide antenna overhaul and repair services for the shipboard radar antennas: AN/SPS-49, AN/SPS-73, AN/SPS-55, AN/SPS-48, AN/SPS-67(V)1, AN/SPS-67(V)3/5, AN/SPQ-9B; AN/SPS-40. The services are provided in Bedford, IN at a Raytheon Technologies facility and on site at NSWC Crane. The position is located in Bedford, IN. This position may allow partial telecommuting once candidate understands the program, customer and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated minimum 10 years program-management experience executing and growing programs/tasks/projects/operations

  • Experience with managing a small team of maintenance and logistics professionals.

  • Experience managing maintenance & operations, and logistics programs/tasks/operation/projects

  • Experience utilizing program-management practices including scheduling (MS Project), financial systems and program control, risk and opportunity (R&O)-management

  • Experience working with cross functional teams and organizations

  • Demonstrated innovative ‘out of the box’ thinking to support business goals

  • Excellent communication skills both oral and in written

  • Effective listening skills

  • Excellent computer skills; i.e. must be able to develop senior leadership briefing and effectively present briefings

  • Must have sound ethical values built upon trust, respect and ‘doing the right thing’

  • Prefer a current security clearance or ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance at a minimum

  • Ability to obtain any required Export Authorization

Required Education

  • A bachelor’s degree or eight (8) years of additional experience in lieu of degree

    Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Prior Program Management experience for a DoD program

  • US Navy depot (overhaul & repair), maintenance and supply chain management experience

  • Program Management or technical team leadership certifications

  • Experience working with a major subcontractor

  • Prior experience successfully leading a cross-functional team of diverse individuals to a common business objective
