Raytheon Technologies Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls in Indianapolis, Indiana
The Mission Modernization Solutions (MMS) Finance Team in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a highly motivated Program Cost Control Analyst to join the Secure Sensor Solutions (S3) Mission Area of Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) division.
You will be the primary financial support within the program and this role will require a highly motivated team member to nurture tasks to completion. Professional and effective communication skills are required due to the frequent interaction with program and functional leadership at varying levels. The position requires a deep knowledge of Finance, Accounting and Business Development, as well as performs analysis and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. The analyst will participate in the preparation of budgets and schedules for all contract work and will perform and/or assists in
financial analysis, such as AOP (Annual Operating Plan) and LRO (Long-Range Planning) development, SROs
(Short Range Outlooks), funding profiles, forecast and variance analysis.
Typically 5+ years of related work experience
Working knowledge of accounting principles.
Thorough critical thinking capability and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access).
In depth knowledge of key financial systems and tools (SAP, MPM, BW, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of SAP.
MS Microsoft Project, Microsoft Access and Information Systems proficiency.
Knowledge of FAR/DFARS
Ability to work alone and on teams in a results oriented environment to develop solutions for complex problems that will gain desired outcomes
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of earned value management
Thorough understanding of financial planning and analysis
Required Education (including Major):
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
