The Sales and Distribution, Manager of Business Systems and Transformation, role is focused on the support of production solutions and enhancement of Collins Aerospace Sales and Distribution systems including, but not limited to, Quotations, Standard Orders, Consignment, Scheduling Agreements, Returns, Credit and Debit Memos, ATP, GATP, Back Order Processing, Material Determination, Sales BOM’s, pricing, billing/invoicing, Customer Master, Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), AOPB, Export compliance, Deliveries- Inbound and Outbound, standard, subcontracting, third-party, drop-ship, deliveries without reference. Delivery due list, Route determination, delivery forms, labels and picking processes. Shipments, Packing Instructions, handling units, shipping forms, Bill of Lading, shipping, and customer specific labeling.
This individual can sit at any Collins Aerospace domestic location or work remotely within the United States.
Works to select, implement, develop, maintain and support business systems and DT applications through understanding of the business processes and their implications, then applying process improvement concepts for simplification and productivity to support business goals and objectives.
Manage internal and external stakeholders. Align digital services, service levels, technology, management and initiatives with business strategies and needs. Represent the business in Enterprise wide and/or corporate initiatives.
Act as a primary DT-business contact and advocate for delivery of high-quality digital services. Work with DT Stakeholders in Operations, Quality, Sales & Distribution, Security, Infrastructure, Project Management to manage and document the Digital Technology portfolio of solutions
Responsible for alignment of business systems through technology selection, development, configuring and testing of both new applications and legacy systems; which requires knowledge of business processes, systems architecture, development processes for improved design, as well as understanding of systems integration for applications.
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience OR
In absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder
Experience analyzing current business and technical processes for an assigned area to determine where system updates or new systems are needed. Explicitly, configure the SAP system and / or update its supporting master data with mass update tools
Experience in coordinating Business and DT Teams to ascertain system requirements, such as program functions, and reporting outputs. Entails writing detailed specifications for enhancements to fulfil requirements, then execution of Users acceptance with system testing and establishment of system techniques and controls (standard work and data governance guidelines)
Experience with order to cash business processes in a highly regulated industry with a proven track record demonstrating the ability to adapt and use technology to meet business process needs.
- Experience with SAP Sales and Delivery, SAP Service Management, MS O365 products, Service Now, and Microsoft Teams, Hybris, knowledge of GTS (Global Trade Services) integration, United States export ITAR and EAR related regulations regarding export shipment.
