This co-op will perform structural analysis of a basic nature using conventional classical stress analysis and finite element analysis (Ansys preferred). Work to pre-established design parameters to assess the structural integrity of metallic aerospace component parts. Develop and document structural tests to assess structural integrity of component parts. This position includes assisting with the derivation of component applied loads and interface loads, performing stress analysis, and documenting the results in a formal report using Microsoft Word, pursuant to obtaining FAA certification.

This role could be either a Spring/Summer or Summer/Fall Co-op role depending on the needs of the candidate.

Basic Qualifications:• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.• Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holderPreferred Qualifications:• A t least two (2) years or sophomore standing in an undergraduate study of Mechanical, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering.
