Raytheon Technologies Hydraulic Systems Maintenance Specialist (DMR) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

The Hydraulic System Maintenance Technician will perform duties on the Deep Maintenance for Patriot System Refurbishment (DMR) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This individual participates in hydraulic system improvement and repair for Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces (RSADF) systems functions and provide technical assistance to existing customer personnel, and will perform maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers. Performs in-process inspections of maintenance activities to ensure repairs are accomplished in accordance with applicable quality standards and procedures. Performs maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers. Prepares and maintains records pertaining to equipment failures. Performs in-process inspections of maintenance activities to ensure repairs are accomplished in accordance with applicable quality standards and procedures. Performs adjustments and alignments for optimum performance. Participates in on-the-job training (OJT) programs and assists the section officer in enforcing safety policies, procedures, and standards. This position is located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with minimal travel requirements. Possible career growth opportunities through follow-on contracts.

Required Skills:

  • Must have a minimum of three (2) years of Field Maintenance (FM) experience in trouble-shooting, fault isolation and repair of hydraulic systems

  • Ability to repair and perform deep maintenance on military heavy/light vehicles, Vehicle-Mounted Actuators, forklifts and all hydraulic cylinders and valves

  • Ability to repair transmission failures and electrical faults

  • Must be skilled in the use of engineering documentation, schematics, general purpose commercial test equipment and common tools

  • Must be experienced in maintenance and repair of hydraulics, pneumatics and mast structures.

  • Must be proficient in hydraulic systems maintenance

  • Must be proficient in the English language; both spoken and written

  • Must be able to obtain a Saudi Arabia visa

  • The Saudi Arabian government requires complete COVID-19 vaccinations for entrance into the country

    Desired Skills:

  • Strong Electrical and Hydraulic background

  • General knowledge of maintenance shop operations and procedures

  • Ability to multi-task and maintain organization

  • Ability to work with little supervision and oversight

    Required Education:

  • Graduate of a technical school in electronics and applied science, or equivalent experience on the basis of two (2) additional years of experience for each one (1) year of higher education

  • Certification in hydraulics; preferably from a military or an accredited civilian course of instructions

  • Due to country and/or customer requirements, as a condition of employment for this position, the successful candidate will be required to get a COVID-19 vaccination and provide proof prior to start date.
