We are hiring for a Contracts Specialist professional who will develop, analyze, evaluate, review contracts to ensure alignment with business and legal requirements for customer facing contracts. The Contracts Specialist will serve as liaison between the external customer and internal teams including sales, supply chain, engineering, quality, and production. This position is a remote (virtual) opportunity but travel as needed for business.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Draft, generate, interpret, and manage contracts and associated contractual documents in accordance with internal processes and contractual obligations

  • Manage and communicate business and contractual risk throughout the entire contract life cycle.

  • Work as part of a program team and act as a subject matter expert for contractually related issues

  • Act as a point of contact for various customer programs and Collins sites for contractually related questions and issues

  • Manage customer interface and correspondence

  • Analyze and prepare documentation to ensure contract terms and conditions are within the negotiated and approved parameters.

  • Advise and support internal team and contracts manager on customer proposals and contractual negotiations

  • Flow down Customer contractual requirements within the organization.

  • Maintain historical contractual records and audit artifacts.

  • Adhere to and comply with standard work processes

    Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and 5+ years of Contracts experience OR

  • Advanced degree in a related field from an accredited university and 3+ years of Contracts experience OR

  • In the absence of a degree, 9+ years of Contracts experience is required.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Aerospace Industry experience is preferred but not required.
