Raytheon Technologies Consulting Proposal Analyst (Pricing Lead) in Largo, Florida

Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) has an excellent opportunity within the Integrated Estimating & Pricing Solutions (IE&PS) organization for a Consulting Proposal Analyst. This is a high visibility pricing position within an enthusiastic organization passionate about creating and supporting competitive and sole-source Cost Volume and Pricing efforts for the CAMS Product Line pursuits.

The IE&PS offers visibility to, and requires extensive contact with all proposal team members, subcontractors, customers, and RI&S Senior Administration. The ownership of this activity, in concert with the other proposal volume stakeholders, is key to winning new business. Activities include developing pricing strategies, constructing should cost /pricing models, writing compelling cost volumes, meeting schedule, and compliance requirements in order to submit compelling and winning cost volumes.

Some additional activities include, but are not limited to: Forming and guiding the proposal cost team, managing all cost volume activities such as compiling cost, schedule, and technical elements in accordance with the Request for Proposal (RFP) specifications. The development of Excel cost models to support proposal efforts is crucial for should-cost and pricing reviews with administration

Required Skills:

  • Excellent skills in Bid/Cost Proposal/Finance to include minimum 5 years of Bid/Cost Proposal development

  • Experience working on competitive and sole source proposals in excess of $75 Million

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cost volume teams

  • Advanced Skills utilizing Microsoft Excel

  • Demonstrated experience in working with proposal teams in a very passionate environment

  • Demonstrated Bid/Cost Proposal management skills

  • Be very detail oriented and have demonstrated ability to think strategically

  • Ability to work both self-guided and as an integral team member in a highly dynamic work environment

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrated experience briefing all levels of Management

  • Excellent working knowledge of FAR, DFARS and other Government Procurement regulations as they pertain to Bid/Cost proposals.

  • Experience in proposing to different contract types (CPFF, CPIF, CPAF, FFP, FPIF, T&M), with an understanding of financial implications on program implementation of each contract type.

  • Knowledge of the Service Contract Act and its applications

  • Highly proficient with MS Office software (Word, Power-Point, and especially Excel)

  • Travel may be required to other company facilities. This is based upon proposal location, possibly up to 20% of time

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with International Pursuit pricing

  • Course work towards or a Master’s degree in Business Administration is also desirable

Required Education (including Major):

  • 8 Years applicable experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance, Economics, Marketing or related discipline OR 6 years applicable experience with related Master’s degree Or 4 years applicable experience with related PhD

    US Citizenship Required:

  • This position requires access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship

  • This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
