Raytheon Technologies Industrial Security Specialist II in Largo, Florida

Seeking a highly motivated COMSEC professional as the Space & Intelligence (RI&S) Largo, FL Alternate COMSEC Manager for a large production and depot COMSEC Account . The successful candidate will prepare shipment, order, receipt and maintenance of COMSEC equipment and encryption key, track supersession dates, submit accurate and timely accounting reports, perform software upgrades to encryptors, secure telephone equipment, fill devices, and other COMSEC equipment, conduct/reconcile COMSEC inventories for up to 17,000 COMSEC assets, compliance validations, and incident reporting and investigation. Additionally the Alternate COMSEC Manager will conduct accountability transitions through the COMSEC product build process following In-Process-Accountability-Plans (IPAP) guidance. The selected candidate will work closely with the COMSEC team, COMSEC users, and program professionals to ensure proper application of cryptographic key, validate COMSEC requirements in support of multiple U.S. Government, Foreign Military Sales, and Direct Commercial Sale contracts.

Local travel required to other locations as necessary.

Required Skills:

  • Final Top Secret clearance required at time of hiring

  • Practical knowledge of Industrial Security, the NISPOM, and how COMSEC plays into the success of business.

  • Familiarity with CSSM Policy 3-16 and its associated references

  • Attention to detail, time management and follow-through

Desired Skills:

  • Previous COMSEC certification preferred

  • KMI training certification

  • Experience with support of a large COMSEC account to include receipt, custody, safeguarding and destruction of production and/or depot COMSEC material

  • Experience with End Cryptographic Unit management and load/fill procedures

  • Experience with troubleshooting COMSEC equipment

  • Experience in the management of Windows based information systems

  • Knowledge of legacy COMSEC equipment

Required Education (including Major):

  • Bachelor's degree in related field with 2 years of industry related experience
