Raytheon Technologies Principal Industrial Security Specialist in Largo, Florida
Seeking a highly motivated Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) and COMSEC professional as the Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) Largo, FL, KMI Operating Account Manager for production and depot accounts. Additionally, a successful candidate will manage operations of two NSA KMI accounts and a USAF KMI account providing KMI registration, endorsement, maintenance, and operational keying for Advanced Extremely High Frequency terminal products and key distribution efforts. Operations include but are not limited to equipment registration, key, endorsement, preparation, shipment, order, receipt and maintenance; plus submission of accurate and timely NSA and USAF accounting reports, software upgrades for KMI, secure telephone equipment, fill devices, and other COMSEC equipment; and to conduct/reconcile COMSEC inventories, compliance validations, and incident reporting and investigation. Additionally the COMSEC Manager will provide on-the-job training to the COMSEC team, Production Control, Front Line Leaders, engineers, assemblers, and other COMSEC user in all aspects of COMSEC accountability, security, compliance, and provide local COMSEC policy guidance.
The selected candidate will work closely with government program offices and their liaisons to coordinate production and depot fielding of product and manage rotable inventory and depot scheduling within government supply-chain systems and databases. This role is the KMI subject matter expert whom aids programs and operations in business and facility planning of programs needing electronic keying material.
Local travel required to other locations as necessary.
Six years of relevant experience
Final Secret clearance required at time of hiring with ability/willingness to obtain a Top Secret clearance
Formal KMI MGC Operator Training
Experience with management of a KMI COMSEC account to include receipt, custody, safeguarding and destruction
Ability to train COMSEC team in all aspects of day-to-day COMSEC operations
Extensive understanding of the NSA CSSM Policy 3-16 and its associated references
Attention to detail, time management and follow-through
Previous NSA COMSEC certification preferred
Knowledge and experience operating under United States Air Force COMSEC policies and procedures
Experience with troubleshooting COMSEC equipment
Experience in the management of Windows based information systems
Knowledgeable of legacy COMSEC equipment
Required Education (including Major):
Bachelor's degree in related field.
