Raytheon Technologies Principal Program Cost Schedule & Control Analyst in Largo, Florida

The Largo Manufacturing Finance Organization is in need of a Principal Cost Schedule and Control Analyst for impactful programs. This is a high profile, very demanding program role with multiple tasks and potential interfaces with multiple sites. We are looking for a team member with excellent manufacturing/MRP acumen who can strengthen project excellence in areas of Earned Value, baselining, Estimates at Completions and forecasting. Applicants should possess a passion around program implementation, finance learning and higher level problem solving by coordinating resolutions with the appropriate functional resources.

The Principal Cost Schedule and Control Analyst will support and partner with their internal customers and provide guidance and knowledge of our cost position, risk and opportunities and policy and regulation compliance. Role will recommend process improvement techniques and procedures to further team effectiveness going forward. This position is a great opportunity for broadening leadership skills within finance as guiding, training, and mentoring junior analysts is an important aspect of the role. Relationship building is key for this role. you will work in frequent collaboration with others.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related Finance work experience.

  • Must have excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills.

  • Exceptional team player with willingness to learn.

  • Advanced written and verbal skills.

  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience prioritizing concurrent requirements and accommodate numerous stakeholders.

  • Systems skills with ERP or MRP systems

  • Proficient EVMS Skills

  • Time management skills, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines that may require professional extra hours

  • Demonstrate the ability to lead effectively with minimal supervision and be proactive in achieving team and company goals.

  • Able to develop solutions to problems of unusual complexity that require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.

  • Experience in analyzing and writing variances, with actions and recovery plans, and address outstanding commitments on projects.

  • Provide trending and forecasts on programs, provide analysis and offer recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Travel is required as needed, ranges from 0-20%

    Desired Skills:

  • DoD industry experience preferred

  • Manufacturing experience preferred

  • Knowledge of in-house business systems such as PRISM, APEX / SAP, and Business Warehouse

  • VBA or Macro experience

  • Experience in meeting with internal customers such as our Operations Program Managers (OPMs) on a regular basis to review expenditures on programs.

  • Experience with accurately assess the final cost projection on completion of project.

  • Demonstrated discipline to perform the weekly and monthly financial reports and conduct analysis to ensure that contracts are within the negotiated or agreed upon cost parameters and Government Cost Control Guidelines

  • Prior experience in supporting various Manufacturing programs with weekly and monthly Earned Value Management System (EVMS) reporting as well as quarterly EACs

  • Raytheon Level 3 EVMS Certified


    B.A. or B.S. in Accounting, Finance or Business Management with some Accounting/Finance courses plus 5 years of related Financial experience

    Security Clearance: Must be able to meet eligibility requirements
